Operations Control and Flight Dispatch, abbreviated name Operations,
is located on the ground floor in our mainbuilding at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
It is here that a group of well-trained professionals co-ordinates
all operational handling activities for cargo flights, 24 hours a day.

Operations feeds vital information to Aviapartner cargo's
various departments to guarantee on-time performance to our customers.

For this purpose we have direct links with SITA - the airlines communications network-,
AFTN -the ATC communication network- as well as several other networks.


We also input the airport information system (CISS) with flight details.
This system is located all over the airport and shows flight-numbers and boarding/alighting positions.
At Operations, we have a specialised Cargo Operations department responsible for
all load planning and weight and balance activities for all types of cargo aircraft
handled by Aviapartner Cargo.

We train our own load controllers as well as third party load controllers according IATA standards and customer regulations.
Operations also provides essential flight information such as fuel and payload calculations,
crew briefings,
ATC routings and computer flight plans.

Flight dispatch and air-traffic control coordination as well as slot-coordination with
central flow management unit in Brussels is done according to the regulations authorized by
Euro Control.
